Chi Gong Practice
Chi Gong can be literally translated as energy practice. It includes all kinds of internal and external forms that enhance the quality and increase the circulation of chi. It has two classifications, nei dan (internal) and wei dan (external forms) which enhance the quality and increase the circulation of Qi.
Tai Chi and 8 Treasures are sophisticated forms of Chi Gong. Simple Chi Gong is used during our warm up sessions and it is also emphasized in the Tai Chi-Chi Gong classes. Chi Gong practice is beneficial because it promotes good health by facilitating the body's internal healing mechanisms and increases the production of white blood cells which enhance immunity and allows the body to function more efficiently.

Eight Treasures Chi Gong is a complete set of exercises that work the whole body from head to toe. It is non-impact, simple to do and appropriate for all ages. Chi Gong consists of a series of movements both internal and external that directly activate or facilitate a smooth flow of vital force throughout the body. Chi Gong specifically combines breathing techniques, simple movements, postural training and mental imagery to guide the flow of energy. In this way, it releases tension and stimulates vitality, thus promoting self-healing within the body and strengthening of the immune system. It feels like you have had a massage and a workout at the same time.Benefits include:
